The changing weather and the increased rain causes ants to seek higher ground and come into the house. We found them around our kitchen and, oddly enough, in the bathrooms. According to an exterminator, the ants come in for water just as much as food. I thought that was weird because there’s water outside as well but okay. Then the pest control company told me they wanted to charge me $250 to get rid of these annoying ants!
Thankfully, I had a good friend show me this simple trick that used stuff that a lot of people have around their house already. It saved me a lot of time and money! And it worked overnight.
A glass of warm water
A half cup of sugar
Two tablespoons of Borax (It’s natural, and if you haven’t heard of it, it can be found in almost every store.)
Mix the ingredients together and soak cotton balls in the mixture. You can place these cotton balls around the areas where you most often see these ants around your home.
When the ants come to get the water off the cotton balls, the borax will get them. It works like a charm every time!

It’s a simple solution to a common problem!
